D’Tigress Shine Bright in FIBA World Cup Qualifiers as Igoche Hails Team

Nigeria’s D’Tigress team made a resounding statement in their opening game of the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup 2026 qualifiers, crushing Colombia 70-37.

Mark Igoche, Promoter and Initiator of the Mark D’ Ball Basketball Championship, extended his congratulations to the team, saying, “I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Nigerian D’Tigress team on their resounding 70-37 victory over Colombia in the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup 2026 qualifiers.”

Igoche praised the team’s performance, led by Victoria Macaulay’s 13 points, saying, “Your impressive performance showcases the talent and dedication of our women basketball stars.”

He also commended the technical crew, stating, “Kudos to the technical crew for their outstanding strategy, foresight and leadership.”

“D’Tigress are already African champions, and their knack for victory is making them fly Nigeria’s flag high on the international stage,” Igoche said, urging the team to keep pushing forward. “Keep soaring high, D’Tigress as the basketball family is proud of you.”Mark stated.

The D’Tigress will face South Korea in their next game on Thursday, followed by matches against Philippines, France, and Germany.
