Technical Adviser of Wikki Tourists FC, Coach Bala Abubakar Mohammed, has reaffirmed his Commitment to assembling a Competitive squad capable of securing the club’s immediate return to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
Speaking during the ongoing player assessment exercise at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi, the coach said every player currently undergoing evaluation has an equal opportunity, but only those who prove their quality, Commitment and readiness will make the final squad.
Coach Bala revealed that the team has played six pre-season friendly matches, recording four victories and two defeats, describing the outings as a valuable opportunity to assess the players and strengthen the team ahead of the new campaign.
“Our mission is clear, to return Wikki Tourists to the NPFL. We know what is expected of us, and by the grace of Allah, with the support of our Management, Government, Supporters and all Stakeholders, we will achieve that goal,” he said.
He added that the Technical Crew remains focused on selecting a team that will make the people of Bauchi proud throughout the 2026/27 Nigeria National League season.
