The Director of Sports, Ministry of Youths and Sports Development and Poverty Alleviation, Borno State, Yusuf Awe, paid an impromptu visit to the Police College, Maiduguri, the training venue of El-Kanemi Warriors FC.
During the visit, Awe expressed satisfaction with the team’s level of preparation ahead of the President Federation Cup, commending the players and technical crew for their commitment and dedication.
“I am excited with the way things are going smoothly in the camp. I can see that the boys are fully prepared and are doing exactly what is expected of them. I want to assure you that the government is doing everything possible to ensure we clinch the President Federation Cup”.
He further assured the team of the Borno State Government’s unalloyed support, stating that the government, under the leadership of the Honourable Commissioner for Youths and Sports Development and Poverty Alleviation, Comrade Saina Buba will continue to motivate and provide the team with everything necessary to achieve success.
The visit served as a morale booster for the players and technical crew as they intensify preparations for the prestigious competition.
