As part of its ongoing restructuring and reorganization ahead of the new football season, Barau FC General Manager, Dominic Iorfa, has announced the dissolution of some staff positions with immediate effect.
This decision was made by the club’s management in the best interest of Barau FC as it continues to strengthen its structure for the challenges of the upcoming season.
Retained Technical Department Staff
The following members of the technical department have been retained:Eugene Agagbe – Technical Adviser, Madu Muhammad – Chief Coach,Dahiru Dalhatu – Goalkeeper Trainer and Sirajo Mukhtar – Physiotherapist
Retained Administrative and Backroom Staff
The Club Secretary has been retained, alongside all six (6) members of the club’s Media Unit.
The following support staff have also been retained:Umar Lawan Yusuf – TMS Manager, Sani Idris – Club Doctor, Nafi’u Usman – Masseur, Ibrahim Sani – Curator I, Abubakar Shehu – Curator II and Idris Musa Abubakar – Chief Security Officer (CSO)
In addition, all four (4) club drivers have been retained ahead of the new season.
The club sincerely appreciates the dedication, commitment, and valuable contributions of every staff member affected by this restructuring. Your efforts have played a significant role in the growth and development of Barau FC, and the club remains grateful for your service.
All affected staff members are requested to hand over all club property, official documents, and equipment to the Club Secretary on or before Friday, 4 July 2026.
Appointments into other key positions, including Coordinator, Sporting Director, Technical Director, and Welfare Officer, will be announced in due course.
Barau FC remains committed to building a stronger and more competitive structure as preparations continue for the new season.
