Nasarawa Amazons have continued their impressive run in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL26), with head coach Christopher Danjuma Musa emerging as Coach of the Week for Matchday 9.

Danjuma’s recognition follows a tactically disciplined and commanding performance by the Lafia Landladies, whose structured approach and clinical execution once again set them apart. His leadership from the technical area proved decisive, underlining the Amazons’ growing credentials as title contenders this season.

Double Player Recognition

In addition to their coach’s accolade, two Nasarawa Amazons players were named in the Matchday 9 Team of the Week.

Alani Jumoke Victoria earned selection after an influential display marked by energy, composure, and decisive contributions in key moments of the game.

She was joined by teammate Abdulwahaab Faridat, whose outstanding performance and attacking brilliance played a crucial role in the team’s success on the day.

Statement of Intent

The triple recognition highlights the hard work, resilience, and winning mentality that have become hallmarks of the Nasarawa Amazons camp. With momentum firmly on their side, the Lafia-based club continue to strengthen their push in the NWFL26 campaign.

For Coach Danjuma and his players, Matchday 9 was more than just another fixture — it was further proof that Nasarawa Amazons remain a formidable force in Nigerian women’s football.
