Anambra State is about to witness another major talent discovery project as the Anambra State Football Association, under the leadership of the enigmatic and football-driven Chairman, “De General” Chikelue Iloenyosi, partners with Dynamic Sports Academy_Agu-Ugbo, for a massive 7-Day Scouting Program designed to expose young talents to international opportunities.
The highly anticipated scouting program will take place from 13th to 19th May, 2026 at the Awka Township Stadium, Awka, Anambra State, with activities beginning by 8am daily.
This football project is aimed at identifying, nurturing, and creating pathways for talented players between the ages of 18 and 23 years who are eager to pursue professional football careers.
The scouting exercise feature notable football personalities and international scouts, including Mr. Chukwuekezie Henry Obinna (Nigeria) – Football Agent, Bernado Da Silva (Brazil) – Chief Scout, Mr. Pedro Batista (Portugal) – Chief Scout
With the growing commitment of the Anambra FA Chairman, General Chikelue Iloenyosi, towards grassroots football development, this initiative further confirms his determination to transform Anambra into one of Nigeria’s biggest football talent hubs.
Young footballers are encouraged to take advantage of this golden opportunity to showcase their talent before top football scouts and agents from Europe and South America.
