Let’s stop hiding behind polite diplomatic language and soft headlines. What is happening inside Enyimba International FC isn’t just “mismanagement” or “administrative friction” it is an unholy, state-sponsored hit job. The once-mighty People’s Elephant, two-time CAF Champions League conquerors and the undisputed crown jewel of West African football, is being systematically bled dry, sabotaged, and disemboweled by political parasites in Umuahia.
At the center of this grotesque carcass-feeding scheme? Abia State Sports Commissioner Nwaobilor Nwadinma Ananaba and Deputy Governor Ikechi Emetu.
Together, they stand accused of turning Nigeria’s premier football institution into a personal, dirty-money slush fund to bankroll Ananaba’s treacherous campaign for the House of Representatives.
THE HEIST: Refuse to Steal, Get Destroyed
The war began with a blatant, bare-faced robbery attempt.
When Enyimba secured millions in foreign currency from the prestigious African Football League (AFL), Commissioner Ananaba didn’t see an opportunity to rebuild the club’s infrastructure. Sources confirm Ananaba unilaterally ordered Enyimba Chairman and Nigerian football icon Ambassador Kanu Nwankwo to bypass the Single Treasury Account (STA) and dump the AFL war chest straight into a private, unverified bank account.
