The Nationwide League One (NLO) has provided guidance to clubs in Division One and the U-19 Youth League on how to smoothly navigate its newly launched website and player registration portal.
Developed by Zkyte Technology Ltd, the platform is designed to enhance data security while providing a more efficient and transparent experience for all participating clubs.
In a 27-minute instructional video divided into seven chapters, Zkyte Technology explains how clubs can access and use the platform. The tutorial covers essential steps such as logging in, managing and customising club profiles, registering players, performing face ID verification, and processing payments.
After a club administrator is approved and successfully logs in, the main navigation begins from Chapter 2, where the dashboard interface appears. The dashboard displays key statistics including the club’s total number of players, matches played, results, win rate, performance charts, player verification status, and editing options.
The tutorial also highlights how clubs can easily access important features such as Squad Management, Player Release Process, Match Line-up Creation, Media Builder, Payment Management, and Settings & Security.
Importantly, club administrators maintain full control over the information within each section of the dashboard. They can update details and upload critical documents such as registration forms, transfer documents, contract termination forms, player release notices, and health or injury reports to ensure that player profiles remain accurate and up to date.
The portal also allows clubs to schedule friendly matches through the Match Request option. Once both clubs confirm the request, the NLO Secretariat is automatically notified.
Additionally, the system features a notification centre that keeps clubs updated with important information from the NLO, including press releases, sanction letters, fixture adjustments, and other official communications. The platform also enables direct communication between clubs regarding player releases or friendly match arrangements.
To strengthen security, the portal incorporates a Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) system. This requires users to verify their identity using two methods: something they know (such as a password) and something they possess (such as a mobile phone, authentication app, hardware key, or verification code).
This additional security layer helps prevent unauthorised access through methods such as SMS verification codes, authentication apps like Google Authenticator, or hardware tokens.
