With just 12 days to kickoff, excitement is building as the Local Organizing Committee confirms that competition venues are fully ready for the 3rd National Para Games Abuja 2026 .
Nigeria’s biggest multi-sport event for athletes with disabilities.
The Moshood Abiola National Stadium will serve as the main hub of the Games, hosting the majority of competitions.
Events at the stadium complex include: Para Athletics (Main Bowl), Para Powerlifting,Sitting Volleyball, Wheelchair Basketball,Para Taekwondo
Para Table Tennis,Para Badminton,Wheelchair Tennis.
Additional events within the complex will take place at specialized facilities: Para Swimming – Swimming Pool Complex, Para Cycling & Para Karate – Velodrome, Para Shooting – Stadium Shooting Range
Beyond the stadium, two more exciting venues have been confirmed:Jabi Lake – Host of Para Canoeing,FIFA Goal Project Pitch – Venue for Amputee Football
The 3rd National Para Games Abuja 2026 will unite thousands of athletes from Nigeria’s 36 states and the FCT, celebrating resilience, excellence, and inclusion through sport.
More than a competition, the Games are a powerful platform for discovering new talent and strengthening Nigeria’s presence in global para-sports.
