Chioke All Stars FC has announced open trials for female footballers, as the club moves to build its new women’s team ahead of the upcoming season.
The club said only 30 players will be allowed to register for the exercise, which will be held at Isiweke Stadium, Imo State. The trials are targeted at female players between 16 and 25 years of age.
According to the club, the screening is open primarily to players based in Imo State and neighbouring states. Registration is free and no fees will be charged.
“The best players will be picked to join this new female football team,” the club stated. “This is an opportunity for young female footballers in Imo and nearby states to showcase their talent and begin a professional journey.”
The exact screening date will be announced in due course, but interested players have been urged to register early as spaces are limited.

The launch of the women’s team is part of Chioke All Stars FC’s plan to expand its grassroots and youth development programme in the state.
