NVBF Invites 22 Players for U-19 Girls Camp Ahead of African Junior Championship in Egypt

The Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) on Thursday has invited 22 players for the national U-19 Girls training camp ahead of the 2026 African Junior Volleyball Championship scheduled to take place in Egypt.
The camping programme will commence on Friday, 10 July 2026, at the High Performance Centre in Abuja , where the players will begin intensive preparations for the continental tournament.
The selected players are drawn from clubs competing in the Nigeria Premier Volleyball League, National Division One League, and National Division Two volleyball League.
The Federation expressed confidence in the quality of the invited athletes, noting that the players are in strong competitive shape following the successful completion of the first phase of the 2026 National Volleyball League.
The technical crew is optimistic that the team has the ability to compete strongly in Egypt and secure qualification for the FIVB World Championship.
