NVBF Invites 22 Players for U-18 Boys Camp Ahead of African Junior Championship

The Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) has invited 22 players for the national U-18 Boys training camp ahead of the 2026 African Junior Volleyball Championship in Egypt.
The players will begin camping on Friday, 10 July 2026, at the High Performance Centre as preparations intensify for the continental competition.
The invited athletes were selected from clubs participating in the Nigeria Premier Volleyball League, National Division One League, and National Division Two League.
Nigeria’s U-18 Boys team enters the championship with a strong record, having won the African title three consecutive times and represented the continent at the FIVB U-19 Boys World Championship on two occasions.
The Federation believes the current squad possesses the talent, determination, and competitive experience required to maintain Nigeria’s dominance and secure qualification for the FIVB World Championship.
