The Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) has invited 26 players to the national team’s high-performance training camp in preparation for the 2026 CAVB African Women’s Nations Cup, scheduled to hold in Nairobi, Kenya, from August 23 to September 5, 2026.
The invited players comprise a blend of experienced national team members, standout performers from the Nigeria Volleyball Premier League, and Nigerian professionals playing abroad. The selection underscores the Federation’s commitment to assembling a competitive squad capable of delivering an outstanding performance at the continental championship.
All invited players are expected to resume camp on Monday, August 3, 2026, at the High Performance Centre, Package B, Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, where intensive training will commence under the supervision of the national coaching crew.
