Ex Super Falcons goal Keeper Judith Chime has appealed to the Nigeria Super Falcons that Nigerians want more from them because they are not impressed with their performance in the ongoing WAFCON.
The Ex Super Falcons said this earlier today on the show Sport Gallery with Faith Akindele (Mr Stereo) on Crowther 88.5 FM OYO. The Ex Super Falcons player said though it was not as if they didn’t play well but their performance was not enough as expected when you don’t play to expectation nigerians have the right to talk and if you play well and even lose we will applaud you.
What I noticed is that there is no unity at all, no pattern , everyone was just playing individual football , how can Malawi who is making their own debut beat Nigeria, it is a big shame .
She further said she can’t even remember the last time Cameron beat Super falcons, the Cameron ladies came with full determination that they wanted to beat us and they achieved it.
Judith Chime also lay emphasizes on how the players use social media , it is just too much , every time u see them on social media, though it is not that they should not post on social media but there is time for everything.
Our coaches in Nigeria also don’t always give a chance to our local players which is too bad they only believe in foreign players , they need to encourage the local players because I dont understand why u will invite them and not still use them
If Nigeria wants to lose it should be to a country that is better than us or close to us but not all these underdogs.
So the game against South Africa I hope the super falcons win so that they can play in the World Cup because it will be a big slap on our faces if they miss out .
